ANN ARBOR, Mich.
John Lenneman, CSRC Senior Principal research Scientist, recently participated in a panel discussion focusing on how humans perceive and understand automated driving system (ADS) technology. Many interesting topics were discussed including mental model formation of cars and ADS technology, how trust in ADS technology can be engendered, and the parallels between robotics and ADS technology. The panel was hosted by the organization Partners for Automated Vehicle Education.
